A series of monthly workshops to explore what self-care, wellbeing, and collective care means to you.
These sessions hope to provide a safe and welcoming space for everyone to have the opportunity to experience and explore wellbeing and yoga.
Self-care Sundays are a space to both discover and experience how we can nourish and nurture our whole being, a time for self-exploration and discovering ways of caring for ourselves that are attainable, and sustainable.
These sessions can help build more tender and compassionate connections with ourselves, and in turn, our communities and the world around us.
For times when we might feel small and separated, we can be reminded of our shared humanity.
To be human, is to be connected.
2021 Self-Care Sunday Themes
January – What is Self-Care?
February (21st) – Mindfulness and Meditation
March (21st) – Yoga as a Form of Self-Care
April – Journaling / Writing as a Form of Self-Care
May – Sleep & Yoga Nidra
June – Further Tools for Self-Care
Each workshop will be trauma-informed and mental health aware.
They are a space for celebration of choice, voice, agency and individual self-exploration.
I hope for this to be an inclusive and accessible space that welcomes everybody. Please let me know if you feel like these workshops do not feel accessible to you, I would be very happy to discuss what changes can be made.
Each month we will explore a different theme. These themes will be different tools that support both mental and physical wellbeing.
· The first half of the workshop will offer an interactive talk on the monthly theme, with opportunities for collective discussion, sharing and self-reflection.
(Please note that you do not have to contribute to discussions, everybody is welcome just as they are, within their own boundaries.)
· For the second part of the session I will guide you through a slow, soothing and restorative yoga flow, ending with a deeply relaxing meditation.
